We’re Gettin Better Everyday!

We have lots of exciting Rancho Kitty news to share with all you wonderful animal lovers. But first, let’s introduce our three newest babies. All these sweet pups were victims of abandonment by their previous humans. That’s a distant memory now that the healing has begun!

First, meet LeePuppy a cute little pup-pup, who was a bit shy at first. But, as puppies will do, he’s settled in and gettin rowdy. Next is Theo, a beautiful pup-pup with eyes that will melt your heart. He’s settling in nicely and making friends down here at Rancho Kitty. BobbySue, our newest elder statesman is the sweetest girl and still a puppy at heart.

We at Rancho Kitty will never understand how someone could be so heartless as to dump these sweet creatures to fend for themselves. We got the call and came a runnin to scoop them up and bring them to a safe home here in Murchison, Texas. Out of all the abandoned animals, these babies won the lottery and came here, happily living their best lives amongst friends.

Please, if you’re in East Texas and know of an abandoned animal, don’t hesitate to contact us. We will do what is needed to get them rescued.

We also have some positively electric news to share. It took us a year and a half of jumping through bureaucratic hoops and paying the piper($), but our Athen’s Ranchito finally has 200 Amps of electrical service. It was a long, slow, slog , complicated by the fact that our property never had prior electricity. The quality of life has gone up exponentially for our Athens babies, who will enjoy AC next summer!

Even more exciting, soon the pup-pups will be free to roam the entire five acres. thanks to a sturdy front gate and fenced perimeter. We’re almost there, but there are still a few gaps. Watch the video for all the particulars.

Our next big project will be digging an almost 700-foot water well. We currently truck it in, but that is very time-consuming and labor-intensive. Once we get that water well dug, our time and energy can be focused on tending to our babies. Be on the lookout for our GoFundMe campaign. Tell your friends and family that you are helping to dig a water well in Texas. When they ask you WTF? Tell them it’s for the sweet babies at Rancho Kitty in Texas. Thanks for the Love!
